Baba Gariba Adams has been overwhelmingly confirmed as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Assin Fosu Municipality Assembly in the Central Region, securing a unanimous vote of confidence from Assembly Members.
All 22 Assembly Members present at the confirmation ceremony held at the Centenary Hall in Assin Fosu voted in favour of Adams, giving him a 100% endorsement.
The election, which took place under tight security, was observed by traditional leaders, government officials, and members of the public.
His confirmation follows the earlier rejection of former nominee Charlotte Boakye.
