The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent online recruitment portal that falsely claims to offer job opportunities within the service.
This cautionary statement was released on June 3, 2025, following reports of unsuspecting individuals being misled by the deceptive website.
According to GIS, the fake portal mimics the official recruitment process, enticing applicants to submit personal information and, in some cases, make payments under the guise of processing fees.
The service emphasised that it has not authorised any third-party platforms for recruitment purposes and that all official announcements and application procedures are communicated through its verified channels.
