A supposed letter from the Mayo Clinic, one of the top health facilities in the United States, sighted by GhanaWeb, has confirmed that former Minister of Finance, , has cancer.
The Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, at the press conference on Monday, June 2, 2025, where he re-declared a wanted fugitive, said that his office had been informed by the former minister's lawyers that he has cancer.
Ghana's Special Prosecutor, however, indicated that he has not received any medical report confirming that Ofori-Atta really has cancer.
Following the press conference, the letter from the hospital is receiving treatment from, the Mayo Clinic, has gone viral, showing what appears to be an official stamp on it.
