The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has denied receiving any official medical documentation from the legal team of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, dismissing reports of a hospital-issued letter as a publicity move.
In a statement released on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the OSP clarified that despite media circulation of a purported letter from the Mayo Clinic-detailing Mr.
Ofori-Atta's prostate cancer diagnosis and upcoming surgery-the office itself has not received any such communication. "We wish to place on record that neither Mr.
Ofori-Atta nor his lawyers have submitted any such letter to the OSP.
