The lawyer of former Minister of Finance, - Frank Davies, has slammed the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, over his comment on his client's cancer illness.
Kissi Agyebeng, during a press briefing on Monday, June 2, 2025, where he re-declared Ofori-Atta wanted, asserted that the former finance minister's supposed cancer illness cannot save him from appearing before his office for the alleged acts of corruption against him.
Reacting to this in an interview on JoyNews on Monday, Davies expressed his displeasure about Kissi Agyebeng's remarks regarding the illness.
He asked the Special Prosecutor whether he knows what people suffering from cancer go through, adding that Kissi Agyebeng should stick to his profession as a lawyer. "But I will just say this to the Office of the Special Prosecutor, that he should stick to his core duties as a Special Prosecutor and as a trained lawyer.
