Enoch Afoakwa, one of the lawyers for the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has revealed that his client's health has deteriorated and is currently in a poor state.
This comes in the wake of the release Chairman Wontumi, by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) after meeting his bail conditions.
He was granted bail to the tune of GH₵50 million with two justified sureties on Wednesday, May 28.
His legal team, led by lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi, had confirmed that the bail conditions were fulfilled by Friday, May 30.
