President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has urged suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo to abandon her legal challenge, following the Supreme Court's dismissal of her application to halt an ongoing investigation into her conduct.
Speaking on Channel One TV's The Big Issue with Selorm Adonoo, Cudjoe remarked that the odds were clearly against Justice Torkornoo, and continuing the legal battle may be futile. "At this juncture, my honest view is that she should just give up, because the way things are going, there's no way [she will sail through].
She will be remembered in history that she fought.
Maybe that is what she wants," he said.
