Amid swirling rumours about Chairman Wontumi's detention, his lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi has confirmed that the team is fully aware of his whereabouts and that he has not been shuffled around without notice. "We just heard the lawyer for Chairman Wontumi, who has just told us exclusively a few details," a journalist recapped. "The whereabouts of Chairman Wontumi has now been confirmed.

In addition to clarifying Wontumi's location, Appiah Kubi shared that the legal team has successfully fulfilled all bail conditions - thanks in part to the intervention of Brian Acheampong, who supported the surety process. "There was a 50 million Ghana cedis bail that he had to meet and then two sureties, and he just told us that Brian Acheampong has come through to support those sureties," the lawyer confirmed.
All documentation has been handed over to EOCO, and staff are currently verifying the properties presented.
