The Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Administration, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, has reaffirmed the government's dedication to fostering inclusive governance through closer collaboration with Civil Society Organisations.
Speaking at a multi-stakeholder engagement organised by the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), Nana Oye emphasised that transparency, participatory governance, and citizen-centred policymaking are at the heart of the John Mahama-led administration's "Reset Agenda." "Our approach to governance is not only inclusive but also accountable and effective," she noted, highlighting the administration's commitment to ensuring that citizens play an active role in shaping national policies.
She disclosed that over the past four months, the government has taken deliberate and strategic steps to bring governance closer to the people, with initiatives aimed at increasing civic participation and improving accountability at all levels.
Commending CDD-Ghana for its research and policy recommendations, Nana Oye described the organisation as a "strategic instrument of policy co-creation." "They embody our renewed social contract with the people of Ghana-one grounded in dialogue, transparency, and results," she stated.
