President and founder of Citizen Eye Ghana (CITEG), Alex Tetteh, has provided an explanation for his decision to reveal the whereabout of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi to national security agencies.
His explanation comes on the heels of speculations by a section of the public who seek to link his actions to former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
According to him, he sent the petition to security agencies for them to initiate a probe into the allegations levelled against Chairman Wontumi.
In his estimation the move was intended to bring finality to allegations of corruption levelled against the embattled NPP executive.
