A group of branch executives of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region has openly rejected the nomination of Rev.
Atta Mensah as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), calling the decision unjust and detrimental to party unity.
At a press conference held to voice their concerns, the group, comprising 150 branch executives, described the appointment of Rev.
Atta Mensah as unfair, particularly following the rejection of the party's Constituency Secretary, Abraham Henry Arthur, who was initially nominated by the President but failed to secure confirmation from Assembly Members.
