Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has condemned the arrest of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Benard Antwi Boasiako.
According to him, no Ghanaian, regardless of their political affiliation should ever be denied their rights as Wontumi is being denied by the state agencies especially when charges against him are vague.
He has urged EOCO and all other state agencies to act strictly within the bounds of the law and to respect the rights of Mr.
Wontumi as guaranteed by our Constitution.
