The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Benard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has been rushed to the hospital.
This is according to his lawyer, Andy Appiah Kubi, who was with him while he was being interrogated by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
Although he will not disclose the hospital Wontumi has been rushed to, he insists that his client will be there until he is discharged by doctors.
He explained that EOCO picked up his client with regard to issues bothering his relationship with the Exim Bank. "My client has been taken to the hospital.
