Suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has strongly criticised the Justice Pwamang Committee's handling of the proceedings investigating petitions for her removal, describing the process as unjust and a violation of her rights.
In a supplementary affidavit filed with the Supreme Court, Justice Torkornoo alleged that the inquiry has subjected her to inhumane and degrading treatment, arguing that it undermines her constitutional protections.
She contends that the proceedings are designed to unfairly remove her from office.
One of her key concerns is the venue of the hearings, which she describes as intimidating and inappropriate.
