Radio host Kwame Nkrumah Tikese has pushed back against fresh accusations targeting NPP's Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, over a supposed loan default.

The claims suggest that Wontumi received a hefty GH¢10 million loan from Eximbank to undertake a maize farming project - a venture he is alleged to have abandoned without repayment.

But Tikese is challenging this narrative, urging critics to consider the structure and safeguards surrounding such financial arrangements.

According to him, loans granted by Eximbank for agricultural initiatives at the time came with strict requirements.
