Esther Cobbah has been the 'general' of a company for the last 30 years, and those years have not just been in numbers, because she has truly established it as one of the leaders in her field.
As Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa, a total communications and reputation management agency that uses communication to enhance organizational performance, she has not only helped in shaping the understanding, appreciation and acceptance of strategic communications in organisations, but she has also mothered many giants in the industry.
In a sit-down with Etsey Atisu, Host of The Lowdown on TV, and as Stratcomm Africa celebrates 30 years of existence, Esther Cobbah reflected on some of her life's stories as well as the secrets to her success. "I am a firm believer in the devil finds work for idle hands; in fact, I don't idle at all...
in fact, I'm a very structured mind... "...
So, what I began to do was to look around for situations and issues that could be addressed using communication as a tool, or whose management could be facilitated using communication as a tool," she said.
Along the way in her career - which was one of the toughest stages, she had to deal with a husband who was in prison while she worked hard to also sustain her career and her passion.
She detailed all of these and many more in this episode of The Lowdown on TV.
