The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refuted claims circulating on social media suggesting that the Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has submitted a resignation letter to President John Dramani Mahama.

The alleged letter, which has been widely shared online, claims that the minister resigned in protest over the government's use of an expensive private jet, specifically citing a recent instance involving the Vice President's return flight on a jet reportedly costing $20,000 per hour.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially dismissed the letter as fake, confirming that Ablakwa remains at post and continues to perform his duties.     Tamale emerging as transit hub for arms, illicit drugs - Police Commander warns
