The family of the late Professor Thomas Mba Akabzaa, former Board Chairman of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), has formally notified President John Mahama of his passing and shared details of upcoming funeral arrangements during a courtesy visit to the Presidency.
The delegation, led by former Works and Housing Minister Albert Abongo, included prominent personalities such as William Amuna, ex-Managing Director of GRIDCo; Dr.
Charles Abugre, former CEO of SADA; Charles Bawa Dua, Member of Parliament for Bongo; Edward Bawa, Managing Director of GOIL; and Dr.
Shafic Suleman, Executive Secretary of PURC.
