Ghana's Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boamah, has mounted a strong defense as to why the Vice President used a chartered flight on her return from London.
The opposition New Patriotic Party has complained bitterly about the decision to fly the Vice President in a private jet.
Their challenge is that Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, while in opposition, condemned the use of private jet by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He indicated that the President's use of a private jet when there is a Presidential jet was not ethically right.
