The remains of Professor Amedeke, a lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have been discovered and exhumed by police after he was reported missing by his family.
Police launched an investigation following the report, which led to the grim discovery of the lecturer's body buried inside his own residence at Gyahadze, a suburb of Winneba.
Authorities have since retrieved the body for preservation and autopsy to aid in the ongoing investigation.
One suspect has been arrested in connection with the case as police continue their inquiries.
