Renowned American-Ghanaian filmmaker and director Leila Djansi has voiced strong concerns about the growing 'commercialization of Christianity and the exploitation of church workers'.

In a recent Facebook post, she questioned why pastors often receive earthly rewards, such as salaries, gifts, houses, and cars while the rest of the church workforce is expected to wait for their reward in heaven.

"Very soon, we'll stay home, read our Bibles, and take our tithes straight to hospitals and orphanages where they might actually do God's work," she wrote.
