The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Wednesday, May 21, continued its decongestion campaign at the Circle Neoplan Station, targeting unauthorized structures, street vendors, and enforcing sanitation and traffic regulations.
This operation marked the second day of the ongoing citywide initiative aimed at reducing congestion and restoring order across the capital.
AMA officials say the exercise is part of broader efforts to enhance pedestrian and vehicular movement and to ensure adherence to Accra's city planning guidelines.
Day 1 of the campaign, which began on Tuesday, focused on high-traffic zones around the AMA Head Office.
