Police in Walewale, North East Region, have arrested two men for allegedly stealing a pistol and ammunition belonging to an officer of the Ghana Immigration Service.
The suspects, identified as Mohammed Basit, 18, and Baba Rasid, 22, reportedly broke into the Ghana Immigration officer's residence around 12:00 p.m.
on Saturday, May 17, while the officer was away.
They made away with a Smith & Wesson pistol loaded with ten rounds of ammunition and two CZ rifle magazines, each containing 30 rounds.
