Former Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Kirk Koffi, has called on the government to play a more active role in expanding Ghana's base load power generation to meet the country's growing electricity demands.
Speaking on ending Ghana's power challenges permanently on Channel One TV's Face to Face on Tuesday, May 20, Koffi stressed the need for long-term planning in the power sector, noting that Ghana must anticipate rising demand and proactively introduce new energy generation projects.
