Former Ministry of Education Spokesperson, Kwasi Kwarteng, has stated that , the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, presents a unique advantage to the (NPP) in its bid to win the 2028 elections.
Speaking on GHOne TV and monitored by GhanaWeb on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, he said, "I believe Dr.
Yaw Adutwum is more than capable of leading the NPP, just like the other aspirants.
But considering the exigencies of the moment, particularly if the focus is on who can help us win power in 2028, I think presents a unique advantage." He noted that the internal dynamics of the NPP are evolving, especially with ongoing discussions about expanding the delegate base from the current 230,000 polling station executives to potentially over 700,000.
