Ken Ohene Agyapong has officially declared his intention to contest in the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) 2028 Presidential Primaries.
In a statement released on July 29, 2025, the outspoken MP confirmed that he made the announcement through his media platforms, Net2 TV and Oman FM, following the opening of nominations. "What brings me the greatest joy is the overwhelming love and support pouring in from every corner of the country," he said, highlighting that the encouragement is coming not just from NPP faithful but also from young people, professionals, and even Members of Parliament.
According to him, some individuals have gone as far as offering to pay for his nomination forms.
