The court has ordered a psychiatric assessment for Adina-Akpo Abdou Moudjibou, a suspected armed robber extradited from Togo, after reports of alarming behaviour while in custody.
Police prosecutors revealed during Moudjibou's first court appearance that he exhibited signs of serious mental instability, including an incident where he allegedly consumed his own excreta.
Moudjibou is one of three individuals accused in connection with an armed robbery incident at East Legon.
