Aide to the President of Ghana, Joyce Bawa Mogtari has urged Ghanaian traders to decrease their prices.

She holds the view that if prices go up when the dollar goes up, then prices must clearly go down the cedi is gaining its place.

In an article shared via her social media wall, the president's aide said "If we can increase prices when the cedi weakens, we must be willing to reduce prices when the cedi strengthens.

That is what equity demands, and that is what ethical business practice looks like".
