The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has revealed that her constituency is the poorest in the Western Region-a revelation she described as alarming and unacceptable.
Speaking to journalists after assessing the deplorable state of infrastructure and living conditions in the area, Cudjoe called on government agencies, development partners, and all relevant stakeholders to urgently support efforts aimed at transforming the constituency.
She expressed deep concern over the extent of poverty in Amenfi Central and stressed the need for a united front to tackle the pressing challenges confronting the community.
Despite the enormity of the task ahead, the MP reaffirmed her commitment to leading the charge for positive change.
