Police in the Eastern Region have apprehended Solomon Siaw Tetteh, the man suspected to be the mastermind behind a notorious carjacking syndicate that has terrorised parts of the Krobo enclave.
Tetteh had previously eluded capture during a police raid on his residence in Nuaso, a suburb of Odumase, where three of his alleged accomplices were arrested.
That raid marked a turning point in the investigation, helping law enforcement close in on the fugitive.
Acting on fresh intelligence, police tracked Tetteh to another hideout in the same area, where he was taken into custody without incident.
