In response to the severe flooding that has overwhelmed parts of Accra, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has mobilised its emergency search and rescue teams.

The heavy downpours that struck on Sunday, May 18, left many communities grappling with the aftermath, with NADMO stepping up to provide crucial support.

The disaster management body has said that it is dedicating teams on high alert, ready to assist those in need and mitigate the impacts of this natural disaster.

According to a report by citinewsroom.com, Mohammed Jafaro, Chief Disaster Control Officer at NADMO, explained the urgency of their mission. "We have activated our emergency search and rescue teams.
