The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued its 24-hour weather forecast for the country, warning residents to prepare for mist and fog in the early hours followed by thunderstorms and rain showers from the afternoon through the evening.
According to the forecast valid from 6 a.m.
today, mist or fog patches are expected to form this morning in coastal, mountainous, and forested areas.
As the day progresses, most parts of Ghana will experience intervals of sunshine interspersed with cloud cover.
