The Military High Command, led by the Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General William Agyapong, has donated a month's salary to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, popularly known as Mahama Cares.
This gesture was announced by the Minister in charge of Government Communications, , in a post shared on Friday, May 17, 2025.
He stated that the donation was made at a brief ceremony held at the Presidency in Accra. "The Military High Command have just made a donation of one month salary to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund at a brief ceremony at the Presidency," he stated.
The Mahama Cares initiative is focused on providing financial support to individuals living with chronic diseases nationwide.
