Ghanaian Gospel singer Cynthia Appiah-Kubi otherwise known as Cee has candidly addressed the circumstances surrounding her decision to leave her marriage, clarifying that her departure was not based on any divine instruction but rather personal reasons she could no longer endure. Speaking in a recent interview, the singer who gained popularity following her participation in TV3's Mentor reality show, revealed that though she was married to a pastor, the relationship reached a point where walking away was necessary for her own wellbeing "I was married to a pastor, but I left because of certain issues and circumstances that I could not stand.
He is aware of those issues.
God did not tell me to leave my husband; I left because I could no longer take certain things," she disclosed.
Cee's statement stands in contrast to the narratives often shared by some gospel artistes who claim they left their marriages based on divine guidance or spiritual revelations.
