The Odumase Police Command is on a manhunt for a suspected notorious carjacker, Solomon Siaw Tetteh, for his involvement in a series of car theft incidents in the Krobo enclave.
The suspect, who has been identified as the ringleader together with his syndicate, targets their victims, trails them to their homes and deep in the night steals their cars before transporting them to a hideout at Nuaso in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
The group then disassemble the cars, cuts through them and moulds them into coal pots and sells off other parts like the engine, seats and tyres.
Luck, however, eluded members of the group after they stole a Hyundai H100 from a driver at Nkurakan, a community close to Koforidua, last weekend.
