Former Member of Parliament for Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi has stated categorically that he holds no grudges against former President Akufo-Addo.
According to the outspoken politician, he only had disagreement with the president which is public knowledge when the latter declined calls to reshuffle his cabinet when Ghanaians were generally not happy with the economic situation at the time.
Speaking during a panel discussion on Peace FM on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Eugene Boakye Antwi stated that despite his open disagreement with the then president, he cannot fail to trumpet the many successes chalked by President Akufo Addo. "I had my disagreement with the president because he did not want to reshuffle his ministers.
That was the disagreement and I still stand by it, and I think the Oquaye report has commented about this.
