President John Dramani Mahama has drawn a line under the controversy surrounding the acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, following the circulation of a viral video that captured him handing over an undisclosed amount of U.S.
dollars to evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa.
The footage sparked intense backlash across social and political circles, with civil society groups and opposition figures demanding Gyamfi's dismissal.
Many argued that the gesture raised red flags about possible breaches of Ghana's Foreign Exchange Act and the ethical standards expected of public officials.
