Residents of Tatale Sanguli District in the Northern Region have raised concerns about the prolonged absence of a District Chief Executive (DCE).

The Paramount Chief of the area has appealed to the President to urgently nominate a candidate to help accelerate development in the district.

This is reportedly due to disagreements among stakeholders in the districts.

While some individuals successfully went through the vetting process and hoped to be nominated, local chiefs and residents favoured their own preferred candidates, including those who did not pass the vetting.
