The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested multiple suspects involved in armed robbery and drug trafficking following a series of operations in Kumasi.
On May 8, police patrol teams apprehended three suspects-Umar Issah (26), Sherif Mohammed (20), and Abdul Jalilu (19)-for allegedly robbing two residents at gunpoint in Kenyasi.
The suspects, who used motorbikes, stole mobile phones but were intercepted by police.
During the pursuit, Sherif Mohammed sustained a gunshot wound, while the others were injured.
