Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has refuted claims that she pressured party members to reveal their votes during the confirmation of Felix Odartey Lamptey as the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).

In an interview with Citi News, Ocloo described the allegations as "completely false," asserting that no one was asked to disclose their votes throughout the confirmation process.

Ocloo explained that the first round of voting saw Lamptey's rejection, but he was renominated and successfully confirmed in the second round.

She further emphasized that the media was present during both rounds of voting, and at no point did any member show or disclose their vote. "It is not true.
