The Minority in Parliament is calling for the immediate suspension of the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD), Sammy Gyamfi, following the circulation of a viral video in which he is seen handing over an undisclosed amount of US dollars to evangelist and former fetish priestess, Patricia Oduro Koranteng, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
Despite issuing an apology, Gyamfi has been summoned by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, amid mounting public criticism.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, May 12, 2025, the Member of Parliament for Walewale and a member of the Finance Committee, Dr.
Kabiru Tia Mahama, urged the President to act swiftly. "The minority are calling for the immediate suspension of Sammy Gyamfi, as acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board.
