Private legal practitioner and politician, Captain (Rtd) Nkrabea Effah Dartey, has joined the chorus of voices calling for disciplinary action against the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, over his recent dollar gift to Nana Agradaa.

Speaking on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem, the former military officer criticized Sammy Gyamfi - who also serves as the Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board - for what he described as a "needless" and "inappropriate" gesture.

He argued that Gyamfi's actions challenge the credibility of President John Mahama's commitment to enforcing the Code of Conduct for public appointees. "Sammy Gyamfi wants to test the President on the Code of Conduct and see whether the campaign promises were serious or just a nine-day wonder," Effah Dartey said.

He maintained that the president must take swift action to demonstrate that his administration will not tolerate behavior that undermines public trust or economic stability. "Anyone who hears this knows Sammy Gyamfi's action is unacceptable.
