The Spokesperson of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, has disclosed that the wife of the late Alhaji Muniru Lumina had been planning a birthday surprise for her husband on Friday, August 8, 2025, when he would have turned 59.
Speaking on JoyNews on Friday, August 8, 2025, Shaibu said that the bereaved wife had begun preparations for her late husband's surprise birthday, moving around to buy materials to be sewn for him before he tragically died in the crash.
He shared that the wife has been deeply devastated and heartbroken since the news of the incident broke. "She was planning to surprise him with a birthday today, Friday.
That was her plan that she was going to surprise him.
