A tragic road accident at Akyem Asafo in the Eastern Region claimed three lives early this morning, following a collision involving three trucks on the Accra-Kumasi highway.
The crash, which occurred in the Abuakwa South Municipality at dawn, left two other individuals severely injured.
They are currently receiving medical care at a nearby hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, the deadly crash happened when two trucks-a Scania with registration number GS 6429-11 and a Howo tipper truck-crashed into a DAF trailer loaded with cocoa.
