Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia, is leading a delegation from the political party to the People's Republic of China.
While there, the delegation from the NDC is expected to engage with the leadership of the Communist Party.
Specifically, they will collaborate on the consolidation of local government structures in Ghana; strengthening of party-to-party ties; political party exchange program for the respective youth wings of the political parties; and the exploration of areas of economic and investment opportunities.
The team is expected back in Ghana on May 17, 2025.
