The National Chairman of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), Nana Ofori Owusu, has harshly criticised Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for promising to cancel the controversial Electronic Transactions Levy (E-Levy) during his campaign.
Speaking on The Big Issue on Channel One TV with Selorm Adonoo on Saturday, May 10, Mr.
Ofori Owusu described Bawumia's campaign pledge as "blackmail", and was rejected by the electorate in the 2024 general election.
