JoyNews is hosting a special national dialogue to address the controversial Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 2462, which permits mining activities in Ghana's forest reserves.
The dialogue brings together key stakeholders, including environmental advocates, legal experts, civil society actors, and policymakers, to deliberate on the ecological, legal, and social implications of L.I. 2462.
It comes amid rising public pressure and a growing national campaign urging the government to repeal the regulation, which many argue threatens the country's forest and water resources.
