Economist, Professor Agyapomaa Gyeke-Darko, has commended President John Dramani Mahama for demonstrating a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility in his 120-Day Social Contract with the Ghanaian people.
Speaking during Channel One TV's exclusive panel discussion assessing the president's performance, Prof.
Gyeke-Darko described the contract's emphasis on fiscal consolidation as one of its most commendable elements.
According to her, Mahama's focus on addressing fiscal indiscipline has already contributed to positive momentum in Ghana's economic recovery. "One major thing that struck me in the 120-Day social contract that he put out had to do with fiscal consolidation," she noted.
