Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, professionally known Simi has candidly opened up about her reserved nature and the challenges she faces navigating the social side of the entertainment industry.   Speaking during an interview with media personality VJ Adams, the soulful vocalist revealed that her introverted personality often places her at odds with the expectations of showbiz life.When asked about her friendships in the industry, Simi didn't hesitate to clarify that while she has relationships with a few people in music, they are not necessarily rooted in their shared profession. They're not friends because they are in the industry," she said.

Simi, known for hit songs like Duduke and Joromi, explained that despite her love for music, she doesn't find it easy to connect on a social level within the industry.

According to her, she struggles with networking and the kind of public engagement often required of celebrities. "I'm really bad at that and I always say that I think I have the wrong personality for the industry I have the passion for," she admitted.
