The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has issued a stern warning to all government appointees, emphasising that their diligent performance is essential to upholding President John Dramani's reputation among Ghanaians.
Speaking at the launch of the new Code of Conduct on Monday, May 5, 2025, Debrah made it clear that every action taken by an appointee impacts the public image of the entire administration.
He drew an analogy between running the government and managing a boarding school, explaining that just as schools rely on strict checks, balances, and discipline to function effectively, government operations also demand unwavering accountability.
According to him, there would be no excuses for negligence, insisting that underperforming appointees would be held strictly responsible for their actions.
